Over the weekend, Councillor Perfect represented the Medway Conservatives at the Conservative Councillors' Association local government conference.
The conference provided a great opportunity to hear from the shadow ministerial team on how the party is rebuilding after the general election and how councillors from across the country will play an important role in rebuilding trust in the party within local communities. Whilst attending the conference, Councillor Perfect attended the Annual General Meeting of Conservative Local Government, where Cllr John Cope was elected as the new Chair of the Conservative Councillors' Association.
Councillor Perfect, Medway Conservatives Leader said:
It was great to catch up with Conservative colleagues from across the country, at the start of a new era of renewal within the party, under the Leader Kemi Badenoch.
My particular congratulations to John Cope on becoming the Chair of the Conservative Councillors' Association, I look forward to working with him in the month's ahead.
