On the 4 June 2026 our Shadow Cabinet Member for Health and Adult's Services Councillor David Wildey and Shadow Cabinet Member without Portfolio Councillor David Brake attended the Community Connections Volunteer Fair at Rochester Cathedral.
Organised by Medway Voluntary Action (MVA) as part of Volunteers’ Week 2026, the event marked Volunteers’ Week and celebrated the vital contribution of volunteers across Medway.
The event brought together local charities, community groups, and residents interested in giving their time to support others. It provided all who attended an opportunity to speak directly with current volunteers and discover how to get involved in strengthening their local community.
