The Conservative Group are pleased to see the Parklands short breaks children's home receive a good rating by Ofsted, released on the 6th of January.

With strong positive feedback in the report, it is great to see the improvements made by Medway’s hard-working staff, fully supported by the Medway Conservative Group.

The Group sends their congratulations to all the team at Parklands for all the good work they do supporting some of the most vulnerable young people within Medway, along with their families.

Commenting, Shadow Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Education, Cllr Mark Joy said:

Having visited the site, I'm unsurprised by this rating, especially on the recognised improvements in leadership and management (moving from Requires Improvement to Good) and should be rightfully celebrated.
