This afternoon, 9th July 2024, Cllr George Perfect, Leader of Medway Conservatives, made the following statement:

“This morning Cllr John Williams informed me of his resignation from the Conservative Group with immediate effect. 

The Medway Conservative Group is focused on holding the Labour and Co-Operative Group to account and developing our plans for the next local elections in 2027.”

Statement on Medway NHS Foundation Trust

Speaking on the news surrounding Medway NHS Foundation Trust and the dropped grouping plan, Cllr David Wildey, Shadow Cabinet Member for Health and Adult's Services said :“We have serious concerns regarding the consistency of strategy and leadership at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.We are now unclear
