Married with three grown up children and supported by his wife Carmita, David has lived in Walderslade for 37 years. He is a retired Engineering Manager. As a Conservative Councillor for Walderslade, David works on behalf of residents in solving local issues and concerns. Responsible for Adult Services and Public Health across Medway, he has overseen changes designed to improve services. A keen scout, David is District Chairman and considers working with young people to be a privilege and a rewarding pastime. Further community involvement comes through Rotary and supporting local charities including Safer Kent of which he is chairman. David served as a Justice of the Peace until he retired in 2017 and taking pride in family values.

Medway Conservatives Appalled at Announcement on Proposed Stroke Services

Following a period of consultation undertaken earlier this year by the NHS in Kent and Medway, Medway Conservatives are horrified and bitterly disappointed at the announcement that it is now proposed that new 24/7 hyper acute stroke services will not be located here in Medway.
