Elizabeth has lived in Medway with her husband Rupert since 2001. They have four children who attend schools across Medway. Elizabeth has a degree in Housing Studies and works from home in property management having previously worked for a social housing provider for 12 years.

Elizabeth has always been keen to get involved in her local community and help to make the most of where she lives. She has taken on roles such as parent governor, secretary of a Patient Participation Group, treasurer of Uganda Reflex that supports single parent families in Uganda and more recently has set up Wilber’s Way a support and sensory play group for children with disabilities and their parents and carers. In 2013 Elizabeth’s youngest son, who attends Abbey Court Special School, was born with a chromosome abnormality, so wanted to help support other parents going through a similar experience.
