River Ward's War Against Weeds!

Local Councillors for River ward, Andrew Mackness and Habib Tejan, always have one eye on the future - and with spring and the inevitable increase in grass growth now just around the corner, they continue to lobby officers for better weed clearance and maintenance footpaths within the ward.

Cllr Martin Potter attends Grand Opening of Waterfront UTC

The new Waterfront UTC was officially opened on Thursday 6th December (2018) by former education secretary and UTC pioneer, Lord Baker of Dorking.

The UTC is part of the Howard School Trust and has made remarkable progress under the leadership of Principal, Paul Cottam.

River ward Councillors Andrew Mackness and Habib Tejan are determined to make sure residents enjoy a trouble-free winter this year, having introduced salt bins across St Mary's Island.
