Councillor for Lordswood & Capstone

David and his wife Denise have two grown up sons and have lived in Lordswood for over 35 years.  As well as being a ward councillor for Lordswood and Capstone, David runs his own decorating contract business. He is also a qualified tutor and has been involved with different charities.

As a Councillor David has had various roles on committees and at present is Chairman of Health and Adult Social Care and is Vice-Chairman of the Joint Health Committee with Kent. David and his wife Denise had the honour of being the Mayor and Mayoress of Medway for the 2017/2018 year.

The outstanding issue within his ward is the continuous threat of building on Capstone Valley, which he has fought against. David has dealt with many requests from residents regarding various issues within Lordswood and Capstone.

English Festival

An amazing day was had by all who attended this Saturday's English Festival, held at Riverside Country Park. The turnout was huge (perhaps the best ever!) and the activities, stalls and entertainment were made all the better by the spring sunshine.
