Councillor Kwashie Anang has been a dedicated representative of Rainham North since May 2023. As a Conservative councillor, he plays an active role in Medway’s governance, serving on several key committees, including the Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Planning Committee, and School Transport and Curriculum Appeals Committee.

Beyond his council duties, Kwashie is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in Medway. He is a member of the Medway Diversity Forum and the Climate Change Working Party, working to ensure that Medway’s policies reflect the needs of all residents.

Kwashie is also passionate about healthcare accessibility. He has raised concerns about pharmacy provision in Rainham, advocating for better services to support local communities.

With a strong commitment to public service, Councillor Anang continues to work towards improving Medway’s healthcare, planning, and community engagement
