The Medway Conservatives are concerned by news that 40 jobs are to be lost at the University of Kent, at Chatham. The University of Kent is a key strategic partner of Medway Council, and its success has contributed to the thriving student scene that has been seen in Chatham over recent years.
Last week James Cleverly MP visited Medway twice (24th and 26th January) and met with local MP Kelly Tolhurst and Matthew Scott to see the success that has been delivered by Kent PCC Matthew Scott and Kent Police.
